Great Recipe to try

WE Love soup at my house. The girls could eat chicken noddle everyday if I let them. I especially love soup in the winter time. It Truly is ‘Comfort Food”. So, last night I tried a new recipe that my Momma gave me. It’s called “Potato Soup”…. but I think it should be called..”Cheesy Potato Soup”! It is YUMMY! ..And… guess what?.. it was a hit with the kids, which is a Good thing! You’ve got to try it! It takes NO time to make. Enjoy!

Potato Soup

1 can of cream of onion soup
1 bag of orida frozen hashbrowns
1 cup of milk
1 lb. of Velveeta cheese
bacon bits

Cover hash browns with water and bring to a boil. Boil until tender. Then add milk, cheese, onion soup, and bacon bits. (Be careful & don’t scorch it..turn to low) Simmer for a Little while and let flavors blend.

Have a Fab. Weekend!!!

It’s the Little Things…

Every now & then for lunch I’ll fix something special for the kids like these Monster Sandwiches. They are Super EASY to make and the kids just smile and love them. And … Guess WHat? They ate Everything on there plates!! YEAH! My kids are really easy to please.. thank the Lord!

On another note.. I’ve got 2 new recipes to share. I found them on kraftfoods.com. It was Mexican food and usually my kids are just strictly “TACO” kids.. lol! But, Thursday night.. they said this was AWESOME!! For One night.. I was better than Bobby Flay! I LOVED IT!!! Bring it on.. B*obby!

When the kids sat down I made each one say something in Spanish. They really enjoyed that.. then God layed on my heart that this would be something to do and talk about Mexican missions with the kids and pray for our missionaries in Mexico. Then I thought… HEY.. I could do this with all sorts of different foods!! So, I just wanted to share the idea.. maybe some of you have already thought of this and did it. I want to hear from you! Give me some ideas!!
ps.. I really have missed all my bloggin buds.. I’ve been out of the swing of things & really haven’t found time to blog. But, hopefully now I’m back for awhile. Love to aLL!
